Tablescape Guidelines

Unleash your imagination - choose a theme involving chocolate and tea to create a beautiful teatime table setting.

Guidelines and Rules:

• Each Adult and/or Children tablescape must pay an entry fee of $15.00. A 36" or 30" round table will be provided to create your tablescape on. A group (adults or children) may work on a single entry.
• Children tablescape competition is for children 12 and under (with a little adult supervision).
• You may include a menu that reflects the theme of your table, however there is to be no consumable food used. Food items used are for enhancement of the table decor only.
• Your table decor can go up and out! Chairs and other props may be used, within two feet to the edge of the table.
• A plain, white tablecloth will be provided with your 36" or 30" round table. Please feel free to use your own table linens if you desire.
• Electricity will not be available, and no open flames are permitted.
• No moving objects are permitted (including balloons), unless such objects are placed on the morning of the event.
• Set up for the event will be on Sunday May 18, 2008 from 10am until 12:30pm at the Renaissance Quail Hollow Inn and Conference Center. All tables must be dismantled between 4:40pm and 5:30pm on Sunday, May 18, 2008.
• The Renaissance Quail Hollow Inn and Conference Center, Andrews-Osborne Academy, the AOA Parents' Association, and the Teas and Tables committee will not be responsible for any loss or breakage of table setting items. The deadline to register is May 14, 2008.
