The Andrews Osborne Academy Parents Association (AOAPA) wishes you a wonderful summer.

At the beginning of the new school year, early in September, we will have an AOAPA meeting to approve a new budget for the 2008/2009 school year. I am pleased to share with you that our AOAPA has funds not yet allocated to projects. If there is a specific project or program that you believe would add significantly to the development of our children and community, please send me your requests and ideas. Past projects have included funding a field trip to the Cleveland Orchestra, support for ongoing education for teachers, and community outreach programs. Essentially, AOAPA funds are intended to improve the extracurricular education and
social development of the students. Funds are not intended for school infrastructure or operations. Please e-mail your ideas, recommendations and/or requests to Alison Ryan, Alison-ryan@sbcglobal.net by July 15, 2008.

During the first week of September, you will receive an invitation to the AOAPA town meeting. The invitation will have a proposed budget allocation, based on the feedback we receive this summer.

Should you have any questions about the AOAPA budget, please do not hesitate to contact Alison Ryan, AOAPA Treasurer, or any of the other board members.

Kind Regards,

Leigh Clements, President
Nina Stiles, VP Upper School
Sharon Graper, VP Lower School
Alison Ryan, Treasurer
Lisa Stewart, Secretary
